Solos screened at annual Amsterdam Gay Lesbian Film Festival (Rozefilmdagen). The session at the Balie Cinema was sold out, and the film earned high marks from the audience (80% of audience voted Solos 4 or 5 marks on a scale of 1 to 5).

04/11/2008 - Solos screens at Madrid Gay Film Festival
Solos screened at annual Madrid Gay Film Festival (LesGaiCineMad). As Solos is considered an “art film,” the screening took place at the Reina Sofia Museum of Modern Art in the center of Madrid. Among the audience was Spanish director Carlos Saura and actress Eulalia Rámon.

28/04/2008 - Solos wins award at 23rd Torino Film Festival
We are delighted to announce that Solos has won the “Premio Nuovi Sguardi” Award at the 23rd Torino International GLBT Film Festival. The judges were impressed by the directors, “for creating a film in which the word is not essential to give rise to emotions and the power of images turns personal experiences into universal experiences”. The film festival, one of the biggest and longest running in Europe, runs from the 17th to the 25th April 2008.
